When do you meet for worship?
Our Morning Worship service is on Sunday at 11:00 am. Our Evening Worship Service is on Sunday at 7:00 pm. Our Prayer Meeting is on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
Of course, there are many other times that we meet for Bible study, missions, and fellowship. Our age group ministries also have specific times they meet every week. Please check out our calendar for a complete list.
Where do you meet?
Our facilities are located at 457 Pauline Avenue, Ray City, Georgia. Click here for a complete map and directions.
What about childcare?
We have a very loving and dedicated staff that works with our children and preschoolers. All workers have been thoroughly screened with criminal background checks. A nursery is provided during all of our major service times. Sunday School and Children's Worship is provided during these times as well for those too old for the nursery.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
At Ray City First Baptist you will find a variety of dress styles. Some men might be in suit and tie while others will wear jeans and a shirt. Some ladies might wear dresses while others will dress more casually. We do not want what you wear to be a hindrance from coming to church. "Come, just as you are!"
What should I expect during a worship service?
First, our worship service will be focused and centered on God- and nothing else. You will find a blend of familiar, traditional hymns and modern praise choruses. You will hear the word of God proclaimed through the sermon and by the reading of God's word. Finally, you will find a friendly, loving, and welcoming atmosphere where you will be welcomed but not singled out and embarrased.
Where do I come when I arrive?
We have reserved parking for guests located along the first row of parking right in front of the sanctuary. When you exit your vehicle simple walk forward to the Welcome Center. We will show you where to go from there.
